Request a brand

Want a brand documented that isn't in the catalog yet? Tell us the brand and where to find its public colors and fonts. A maintainer will triage the request and add the atom by hand.

No automated pipeline yet. Each request opens a GitHub issue against the encyclopedia repo. Requests are reviewed manually, real hex values are pulled from your linked page, and the brand becomes available as <slug>@<version> once it lands. Catalog has 144 brands today.

The name people use when they say it out loud.

The brand's public site — homepage, press kit, or brand guidelines page. We pull real published hex values from this URL; no second-hand citations. Required.

Optional. If you're on the brand team and want to send official assets, say so — we'll get in touch about attribution.

Optional. Two thousand characters max. Pasted brand guidelines snippets are welcome.

What happens next

  1. Submitting the form opens a new GitHub issue with the brand name, URL, and your notes pre-filled. You'll review it on GitHub before posting.
  2. A maintainer triages the issue, fetches the public webpage, and pulls real hex values, fonts, and any structural rules from the published source. No fabricated data.
  3. The brand lands as <slug>@1.0.0 in the encyclopedia. It then resolves at brand-atoms.com/dist/brands/<slug>/1.0.0/json/brand.json and shows up in brandatom brands list.
  4. Trademarked logos are not redistributed. Brand colors and fonts are documented under fair-use editorial reference, with attribution to the trademark owner. If you're the brand owner and want different terms, mention it in the request.
