SF Pro

SF Pro — Apple's proprietary corporate typeface, the system font on macOS, iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS since the SF (San Francisco) family replaced Helvetica Neue as the platform default in 2014–2015. Used across Apple's product UI, marketing site (apple.com), and developer surfaces. Distributed through the operating systems; specified in CSS via the -apple-system / system font stack rather than a webfont URL.

Notes
SF Pro ships as a variable font on modern Apple operating systems (with weight, optical size, and width axes); CSS consumers typically use the -apple-system / system-ui keyword which resolves to SF Pro on Apple platforms and falls back cleanly elsewhere. The fallback chain below targets that cross-platform behavior.
